The following Terms and Conditions apply to the sale and purchase of all 30 South products, except whereby certain products or deals are named in terms specific to them.
By ordering 30 South Products from this website, you agree to be legally bound to these terms and conditions. Should you not agree to the terms and conditions at the point of sale, you will be unable to proceed and your order will be cancelled.
About Us
30 South Eyewear pty ltd and its parent company 30 South Eyewear ltd are registered in South Africa with the Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission and the United Kingdom at companies house respectively.
All communications with 30 South Eyewear are via email, social media, WhatsApp, or our website. We do not give out company phone numbers except in exceptional circumstances.
Ordering and Payment
We accept payment from all major credit cards, as well as Zapper, Payfast and EFT (direct bank transfer) within South Africa, and Paypal in the rest of the world. In the case of EFT, your order will only be shipped to you once payment is received or we receive official proof of payment directly from the bank.
Once we have received your order we will send you an email confirmation with the order number and details. Then when your item is shipped you will receive a second email with tracking information included so that you can track your order.
Should a product that you have ordered be out of stock, you will be given the option to change to an in stock product, wait until the stock arrives, or to be refunded. Should part of a multiple product order be out of stock, you will be notified and dispatch of part of the order will be at the discretion of the managers of 30 South Eyewear, which will be communicated to the client via email.
Delivery
Shipping is charged at R60 anywhere in South Africa and is usually affected within 2-5 working days from order. However any estimate of delivery time/date is approximate only. 30 South Eyewear cannot be held liable for any delay in the goods reaching you, for whatever reason.
Your order will be delivered to the address you supplied upon ordering, which can be different to the alternate shipping address. We make an effort to pass any delivery notes on to the courier, however we cannot be held responsible if they do not take them into account.
Complaints
If you have a complaint please email us as soon as possible using our contact us details on the website. We aim to deal with complaints in a fair, honest and timely manner. All complaints are logged, investigated and replied to in due course.
Financial Complaints – Where complaints are not resolved to the customer’s satisfaction the customer may have the right to refer their complaint, in writing, to the Financial Ombudsman Service, for independent investigation.
30 South Lifetime Guarantee/Warranty
The 30 South lifetime guarantee applies to all current 30 South sunglasses as available on the website, and covers the product in case of Manufacturer’s Defects and Accidental Breakage. The 30 South Lifetime Guarantee does not cover lens scratches, wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alterations, loss or theft.
To submit a claim, first contact us with photographs of the issue and the original order number. Once approved, you can then send your 30 Souths back to us and we will repair or replace the damaged parts. Customer must pay for postage to 30 South, we will pay for the repair and the return postage to you.
The discontinued Wingman Range, 30 South Googles, 30 South accessories and any other 30 South Products do not fall under the lifetime guarantee, but do come under the 30 South Warranty; which protects against any manufacturing defects and breakages because of such a defect. It does not cover accidental damage, hinge damage, nose pads falling off, lens scratches, wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alterations, loss or theft. If you are unsure if an issue falls into the warranty, get in touch with our customer services.
Force Majeure
30 South can assume no liability for delays or failures in delivery, or in the performance of our obligations to you resulting from any act, events, omissions, failure or accidents which are outside our control (Force Majeure), which include, but are not limited to:
• Strikes and Industrial Action
• Late, defective or non-performance by suppliers
• Breakdown of telecommunications, computer networks, etc.
• Civil unrest, riots, invasion, terrorism, war or existential threats
• Natural and un-natural disasters, fire, epidemics extreme weather conditions
• Breakdown/shutdown in transportation routes
• Restrictions imposed by governments
• Any other cause beyond our control
We will endeavour by all practical means to limit any delays caused by Force Majeure or to find a solution by which our obligations to you may be met in as timely a manner as possible.

Intellectual Property
The content of this website and all 30 South publications, including but not limited to; Social Media posts, Advertising, Email Newsletters, video content and blogs are protected by South African and United Kingdom copyright law.
